These Covid-19 days can add to the stress that is already lingering within your relationship.

Many were probably in the middle of a divorce or a custody battle or maybe in some huge financial difficulties; or even dealing with a job loss. The list can go on and on. And then boom!

COVID-19 hits and puts an extra burden on your relationship!

It’s best at this time to look within and focus on making changes within yourselves versus trying to change each other. Placing blame on each other doesn’t really work, right?

Making a change can enhance the relationship. Staying in the same patterns won’t help anything, unfortunately.

Here are some tips to better your relationship:

  1. Stop pointing fingers
  2. Look within yourself
  3. Exchange of kind words
  4. Live in the present
  5. Don’t look for conflict or chaos

The way we think could in turn manifest in our lives. So think about the good! It’s up to you to bring the good your way!

Try it.

Want more support? We’re here for you.  Insurance now covers Tele-visits and Video Visits. Call Dunham Counseling today at (630) 799-0100 or go to www.dunhamcounseling.com for more information on how our counselors can help you make the needed difference in your relationship.
