Overcoming Stresses of Too Much COVID Togetherness for Couples and Families
April 1, 2021Krista Sherinian, LCSW, with Dunham Counseling in Naperville will present a free program on ‘Ways to Improve Learning Remotely’ for parents of teens. The program will address helping students to improve executive function and students’ mental health during COVID. The program will be held on Saturday, April 17 at 10 AM via ZOOM. Sherinian will offer tips on better establishing routines, uses of consequences and rewards and ways to improve students’ physical and emotional health considering the stressors of the pandemic. The program will include a 45-minute talk by Sherinian followed by an open Question and Answer period.
Krista Sherinian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience she delivers with sensitivity and hope to her clients ages 5 and up. Krista works with children and teens and is a trusted resource to parents of teens facing emotional and educational challenges. She often works collaboratively in cases of divorce and with stepfamilies. She has been a speaker in District 203’s Parent University. She has spoken locally on Youth ADHD Issues, Teen-Parent Relational Issues, Advances in Neuropsychiatry, and Evidence-Based Holistic Therapies.
